This exhibit is having the most labour intensive mechanism . Each block rides on a path rail. The block is pulled along the rail by string guided on nylon pulley. Both forward movement and backward movements are by pulling from the winding of the control drum. There are 7 blocks and each are controlled by different diameter drums mounted on a common shaft. The 4 description boards rotate to show the different periods. One lever moves this description drum and also the control drum shaft.
